Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Harbinger Insights participates in affiliate programs with several proprietary trading firms, brokers, and financial products covered on this site. This page explains what that means, how it works, and the editorial firewall we maintain between affiliate relationships and the analysis we publish.

What an affiliate relationship means

When Harbinger Insights has an affiliate relationship with a company, it means we have a tracked partnership with that company. If you click an affiliate link on this site and complete a qualifying action — typically purchasing a prop firm challenge, funding a brokerage account, or signing up for a paid service — we may receive a commission from that company.

This commission does not increase your cost. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive at the company through our affiliate link or through any other channel. The commission is paid by the company, out of their own customer acquisition budget.

How affiliate relationships do not influence our content

We maintain an editorial firewall. The following rules govern how we work:

1. Rankings are not for sale. We do not accept payment in exchange for placement in any “best of” list. The order of any ranked list on this site is determined by editorial assessment of the firms involved, based on objective criteria documented in our Editorial Standards.

2. Negative reviews remain published. When we identify problems with a firm we have an affiliate relationship with — such as deteriorated payout policies, rule changes that disadvantage traders, or support failures — we publish those findings. We have removed firms from our recommended list in the past despite active affiliate relationships when their policies changed for the worse.

3. Disclosure on every relevant page. Any review, comparison, or article that contains affiliate links includes a clear disclosure at the top of the page. The disclosure identifies that the page contains affiliate links and links back to this page.

4. No paid placements disguised as editorial content. All content on this site is editorial. We do not publish sponsored posts, paid placements, or “advertorial” content masquerading as reviews.

How readers can identify affiliate links

Affiliate links on this site are displayed in the same style as regular links. We do not visually distinguish them, because we believe the disclosure at the top of every relevant article is sufficient and clearer than icon-based labeling.

If you prefer to support the site without using affiliate links — for example, if you would rather not have us tracked as the referrer for your sign-up — you can navigate directly to the firm’s website by typing the URL into your browser.
