Item 5.02. Departure of Directors of Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On December 26, 2015, HRG Group, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed George C. Nicholson to the additional position of Acting Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nicholson's appointment as Acting Chief Financial Officer will be effective as of January 4, 2015. Prior to such appointment, Mr. Nicholson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company.
